About Grizzly Bears:
They are muscular and large with heavy, shaggy fur. What is less known is that this large animal is peaceful (avoiding fights) and primarily gets aggressive when having to defend and protect their young. In Canada, Grizzly Bears are hunted for game and illegally killed by landowners seeing them as threats to their properties where only under 15000 remain in the wild. The erosion of the Grizzly habitat is primarily at the hands of the rising populations of the world. Most Grizzlies do not live their typical two decade lifespans.
