That’s a great idea, I thought. But then it occurred to me that notecard paper is not of the same quality as the paper I use when I print out my line art reproductions on my trusty Epson printer.
So here, offered for your enjoyment, are my pen and ink drawings made smaller and reproduced on 4” by 6” cream-colored heavyweight buffered printmaking paper. Even better, I have lovingly embellished each one by further penwork, and then signed it individually by hand, so that each print is essentially unique. My pen will dance around differently on every single one, that’s for sure!
I’ve always loved the challenge of capturing volume, depth, personality, character, texture, contrast and detail with the point of my Pigma Micron pen. Keeps me honest and sharp!
Everything I draw is something I love, and my loves are very eclectic. Animals are my favorites, but check back for new and suprisingly diverse subjects soon.
You can pop your mini-prints directly into a easy-to-find 4” by 6” frame, or mat them out to another very popular size, 8” by 10”. The actual image size differs with each subject, but there’s always ¼” at least around the edge to allow for the frame or mat to overlap.
The image listed above is representative of your print, but remember I’ll be adding more detail, and it will be personally signed.
One very good thing is that a single mini-print weighs so little, that I can inexpensively send you one, or two, by First Class Mail in a regular envelope. This also allows me to add international destinations!
My mini-prints make great and easy-to-give gifts! You could even include one with a birthday or Christmas card for a last-minute gift.
