Watercress (Nasturtium officinale): Used for kidney troubles and to dissolve gallstones. It is strongly alkaline due to its high potassium content. Helps to purify the blood. Used to treat water retention. Used for urinary problems, promotes kidney function, helps heart disease by relieving fluid retention and is a powerful intestinal cleanser.
Parsley (Petroselinum sativum): Used especially for the kidneys and liver. It provides toxic kidneys with essential nutrients that help aid in its cleansing and filtering of the blood. Chickweed (Stellaria media): It is a demulcent which helps heal inflamed bowels, lungs and any inflammation whether internal or external. Helps with weight reduction and water retention.
Yerba santa (Eriodictyon sppl): Most pronounced when it comes to the lungs yet Yerba Santa is excellent for water retention, cleansing of the blood and much more.
