During the 16th century the Hand of Glory was a powerful relic amongst thieves. Made from the severed hand of a hanged man, the Hand of Glory was mummified and dressed with magical oils and herbs to turn it into a candle. When all five fingers were successfully lit outside of the targeted home the occupants would be put under an unconscious trance as they were being robbed. If the thumb would not set aflame the robber must beware that someone is still awake and untouched by the Hand of Glory's magic!

This pendant was acid etched into sterling silver, to enhance its sacred powers.

The Hand of Glory pendant measures a little over 3 inches high and about 2 inches wide. The chain is about 21inches around.
