A beautiful and very loved old bear. The mohair on his tummy has worn off, exposing some very cute wrinkles. He was most likely made in the late 1930s or early 1940s and measures about 18" from feet to big, floppy ears.
Stuffed with kapok or wood wool, fully jointed, still has pretty good mohair coverage on legs and arms. Glass eyes. Velvet paw pads worn but intact with no holes. No holes anywhere on the bear, except maybe in his heart. He's missing someone for sure, poor fellow!
I'm hoping there's someone out there who will be able to display him as he deserves and preserve him for generations to come.
