Pattern Collage on Canvas
I am so excited to be listing these finally on Etsy! These little gems have become an addiction to make, the whole process is very involved and each collage is made with LOTS of love! I start with a gallery wrapped canvas and begin my layers with a coat of acrylic paint, then I use vintage clothing patterns that I decoupage onto the surface in every which way. Layers start building as I add cutouts of my favorite scrapbooking and origami papers, old books from the 1800's and other assorted cool things. More acrylic paint is applied and voila! A mini masterpiece! Each collage painting is so unique and different, each has its own depth in the layers... colors... they would look fabulous in your home remodeling project or to decorate any room in your house!
