Make your own iPhone 4 tripod mount. This DIY kit includes materials and instructions to assemble an adapter that firmly secures your iPhone 4 with a standard 1/4" 20-threads-per-inch tripod.
Why did I make this?
- There are no low-cost smartphone tripod attachments for videography students. Students in my videography class frequently complained that there were no options for inexpensive tripod connectors for their cell phones.
After tinkering around in my garage, I finally came up with a solution to give to my students. I call it KISS in honor of my favorite teaching mantra: Keep It Simple Stupid. After my last class, I still had enough materials to make some more adapters.
How well do the suction cups hold?
-You can shake the $%*# out of it and the suction cups will still hold. I know; I've tried.

Metal plate is pre-drilled. Phillips head screwdriver is required for assembly. iPhone 4 and tripod are not included :)
