Ornaments are made from real fruit and placed on a raffia bow embellishments. These ornaments can last for 2-3 years (see below for details). They are a great decoration for all the fall seasons and accentuate any natural and earth-like setting. And of course they look great on a Christmas tree. This listing includes 12 ornaments in a combination of orange, pear, and apple.

SHELF LIFE & DEHYDRATION:
These ornaments are all processed in a dehydrator. They are not sprayed with anything and are truly all natural. The reason why they last so long is because they are practically water-free which prevents them from rotting faster. They are similar to raisins or prunes. And since they are used primarily for ornamentation their life can last 2-3 years in terms of appearance. I would not advise eating them after 4-5 months though.

We have tested them within a 2-3 year time frame and when stored in a cool DRY place they will not stink, or rot. And their appearance will be preserved.

All orders are freshly made dried fruit. If preferred, they are safe to eat within the first few months (like raisins).
