So, I took some standard 3x5 notecards and started writing down my meals and the ingredients needed. I created this card holder, slipped the days of the week in the first slot, and this allowed me to quickly pick a card and slide it in a slot next to the day of the week...no thinking or trying to remember necessary! When I make my grocery list I just take a quick look at the ingredient lists and make sure I have what I need, instead of trying to mentally recreate each meal to recall what I need, because invariable I forgot something!
This organizer has 7 rows with 4 slots in each row and it measures 23" x 31". It's backed with a brown cotton fabric, and 3 loops along the top allow you to hang it wherever you'd like. Use it to plan meals as I do, or for any other purpose that includes writing information down on 3x5 notecards! You could use it to schedule daily chores, or as a quick way to switch around scheduled weekly events.
Notecards not included, I suggest getting a little box to keep them close by.
This item was a part of the fabric destash challenge series on my blog, my goal was to use up this lovely aqua and brown fabric! Read more about it here: http://aux-belles-choses.blogspot.com
