I learned ceramics like an old-school apprentice, at the feet of my grandmother who had a studio in the 1950s and 1960s, and many of the pieces I make are from now-vintage molds that she bought then. My pieces are unique, hand painted, and proudly made in my own home studio. I poured this planter using a vintage Duncan mold that my grandmother purchased new in the late 1950s. If you are interested in one of a different color than offered, or a set, please feel free to contact me for a custom order. Custom orders need a turnaround of 4-5 weeks to allow time for multiple firings.
