This light and airy cobweb scarf with elements of Nuno felting made from luxuries Merino Wool/ Bamboo/ Tussah Silk blend. It features a marvelous and rich all shades of Yellow / Brown / Red / Aqua Green and Blue collage.
For the Nuno collage I used around 3.5 yards of luxuries fibers like Silk Chiffon , Natural Burnt out Silk,Silk Charmeuse, Lace, yards and yards of Ribbons and decorative yarn,3D trim.
The wrap measures :
Length approx. 68” (174cm)
Width approx. 12” (30.5сm)
What is cobweb:
Cobweb is thin and delicate in appearance , yet strong enough felt to hold together well. Only this technique gives such an airy and lacy kind with some small holes.
Cobweb is considered one of the more advanced types of felt making.
Care instructions:Dry cleaning or Hand-wash in lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Do not change the water temperature when you rinse out the soap. Gently squeeze out excess water (avoid wringing). Roll in a towel to absorb excess water and lay flat on a towel to dry, reshape if necessary. Set iron for WOOL setting, use steam heat when pressing. This will keep it looking new for a long time.
