I created this asian-style fan entirely from polymer clay. There is NO paint used in this design. The technique is called mokume gane. Thin layers of blue, turquoise, and silver polymer clay are stamped then I sliced away the top layer to reveal the design. Truly one-of-a kind. The aquamarine stone at the base of the fan and the glass bead at the bottom were salvaged from a vintage jewelry.
