Autumn is a brief and somewhat pitiful affair for deciduous trees here on the Kenai Peninsula. Depending on the summer rains, the leaves turn a weak yellowish brown before seemingly dropping overnight. The classically vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows are found in fields of fireweed and in low-lying wetland landscapes rather than up in air. I've spent some design time this autumn celebrating and thanking the largest species of leafing tree on our property, the birch.

These cards have been created from my own birch leaves drawing to screenprint with nontoxic water-based grey-olive ink. Each card is hand-pulled and will have slight variations in registration and ink deposit. This listing is for one A2 sized thank you card with coordinating kraft envelope.
