This simple and beautiful necklace features part of a postcard written in 1911 in Marne, France, which I bought at a German flea market. The timestamp (24-11-11) can just be seen on the corner of this pendant. It is handmade by me. First I cut up the section of the card I wanted and adhered it to a 2.2 cm wide plated disc. It's immortalized for all time under a smooth Diamond Glaze finish.
The delicate silver-plated chain measures 46 cm and closes with a silver-plated toggle clasp and two red Czech glass beads.
The last photo is included for size referencing; that necklace pictured is not a part of this listing. It's the Nomad Necklace and available for sale here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/80449641/nomad-necklace.
Simple and timeless (apart from the timestamp! :) )
