There’s significance in rabbit and moon imagery that shows up in many cultures. My
favorite, though, is Japan. With autumn slowly making its way, “Tsuki Mi,” moon viewing comes to mind. This item was also created in the Year of the Rabbit.
This piece is made of rayon and measures 25 x 26 inches square. The imagery was created through “boushi shibori” (capping) then, hand dipped in indigo (in my studio) many times over to achieve the deep color.
Care: If needed, hand wash or rinse in cold water or dry clean. It should be pressed
on a rayon or low setting.
