I found this piece of glass while sitting on the beach, in/on a pile of rocks, sifting through the pebbles looking for jade. I saw this flash of frosted glass just under a piece of driftwood. Once I wiped away the tiny pebbles and the sand from the glass and saw how truly perfect this piece of glass really was I felt like I'd found a diamond. Too special to include with the bits and pieces in a bag, I carried it back in my hand from the beach, I was absolutely thrilled to have found it; frosted, absolutely smooth and honestly, it seems to glow. ...didn't even look for anything else that trip, I'd found the best piece of anything on the beach that day - so happy.
The texture is a custom pattern for this locket, the top has a slight dome to accommodate the beach glass, inside the character for happiness is stamped into the metal & the back has a my logo and my custom lucky cat mark.
Of course, if you're not enamored with beach glass as I am, this is by itself a wonderful locket. use it hold a picture, lock of hair, as a discreet pill container, secrets...
The locket is 1.3 inches long or 33.93mm from the top of the loop to the bottom of the locket. The width at the widest point is .64 inches or 16.32mm and at the thickest / tallest point the locket is 8.5 mm or .33 inches.
I can oxidize the locket if you desire. I can add a sterling silver chain with a handmade clasp for an additional charge, send it as is for you to add a chain or put a leather cord with adjustable knots at no additional cost. Just let me know if buyers notes or Etsy convo.

I spend hours and hours on each piece I make for my customers. I don't take short cuts, the metal is not thin or left with rough edges. Solder joins are check with a loupe, file marks taken off, functionality is double checked. My pieces are meant to last for years and years, even with everyday wear.
