Vintage red kichen hottle individual teapot from the 1930s and decades on, the hottle was designed to be placed right into your cup and carried ot the table. The cup warmed, and you put your teabag in the hottle to steep. Quirky precursor to the ugly metal jobbies nowadays.

Clear glass with red plastic insulating cording on the neck.

Marked on the bottom, it's from Glasbake. 6 1/2" tall x 3 1/2" wide, in fabulous condition, including the insulating corked lid.

Useful for its original purpose and outstanding as a conversation starter display piece in your retro red kitchen!
