Due to the nature of cherry wood, this item will mature beatifully into an amazing Burgandy red color in 1-2 years. We use a natural oil and wax finish on this item to help the cherry mature better and to give you that rich feel that only a natural finish can provide. Our finish is easy to maintain and simple to repair. Care instructions and assembly instructions included with this purchase.
This bed also comes with our propietary European Slat set, only a true platform bed uses wood slat systems. The Benefit of our system is that it not only allows the mattress to breath, a critical part of a comfortable nights sleep, but it also flexes just the right amount. Our slat system also will never shift, or slide into odd postions thanks to our unique interlocking design.

We crate ship all our beds at this time. The crate will be delivered to the inside of your home on the first level. You will need to unpack the crate and assemble the bed. Bed assembly typically takes only 30 minutes, all tools are provided.
If you need this item assembled for you, we can provide white glove shipping or local shipping. White glove means that our service will transport it to your home and unpack it and assemble the bed where it belongs. White glove typically costs a minimum of $550 to the Eastern US states, this rate will include shipping for up to 3 items, this is ideal and actually cheaper if your choose ot order multiple items. White glove service also takes an additional 4 weeks to ship.
