Ivory ultra suede on turquoise-with-hint-of-green velour, ivory piping. Four panel, seahorse, sea turtle, anchor and starfish, all top stitched for detail. Bottom, hand stitched brown ultra suede. Wood interior, very sturdy. This was originally a wooden spool, which I rescued from the ruins of Babe's house which burned to the ground, just this month. It was one of the few items left unscathed, on the porch of the old house my husband was born in. Who is Babe? He's an illiterate genius who stays drunk on malt liquor, has few teeth and no birthday and just got a social security number at the ripe old age of...well, I'd guess about sixty. He's also one of the most profound people I've ever met and has given me better advice than any therapist. He's the one who said, "Truth? Be like Easter. You kin' put it in de' ground, but it aint' gon' stay there." So this Ottoman is very special. It's also very beautiful.
