Here we have charming pair of high Victorian Eastlake door knobs. They are made by the G. L. Co. and are marked as such. Patented Feb. 9 1886. Each knob has a bronze button in the center with a spiderweb pattern. Backplates are cast iron.They are in Excellent, damage free condition. These knobs are in working order an ready to be used, but could also be re-purposed to make romantic robe hangers in the boudior. These are referred to as Gilbert's patent.
