She twirled about and headed for the Huge Mahogany Armoire that had been in the family for hundreds of years, and threw open the massive doors-no mean feat as they were ten feet tall and she barely over five! She scanned the contents of the shelves at the top, and cursed her maid for being ill today of all days! Rather than wait for a scullery maid from below stairs, she pulled up a huge ottoman and atop it she pulled the little box with the prize.
Jumping in a very unladylike like fashion, she ran to the full length mirror and place the hat in the perfect position, off to the side for a carefree yet elegant look. She was instantly pleased, and quite confident that she would be the one to get all the attention atop her gleaming chestnut stallion for the ride!
She dashed down the massive stairs again, to the Coach of Lord What's-his-Name(?) to take her to his Estate Stables, and there to be admired. She sighed as she settled into the coach, this would be a day she would not soon forget....nor would she let anyone else.
