The shoes are in good condition -- there's some color variation (a few lighter areas and darker areas), but overall they are in good shape and have lots of wear left. The heels are approximately 3.5 inches high. They have a nice sort of spectator-shoe perforated pattern on the front.
Some information on the designer: Mabel Julianelli, a shoe designer for 40 years, won the Coty American Fashion Critics Award in 1950 with her husband and partner, Charles Julianelli, for artistry and craftsmanship in shoe styles. Her shoes are in collections at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Fashion Institute of Technology, and the Museum of Modern Art.
