This sea glass is from the Northernmost rocky coast of England . It is called “End of Day” glass because during Victorian days, in the English glass factories, at the end of each work day, the workers would pour all the molten glass colors together and then toss this refuse into the sea. This is how these incredible colors occur! Be assured that this glass is antique as it is from those glass factories. These colors are stunning and two necklaces in one! Bail is made with sterling silver wire. This piece is dainty and feminine! If glass is too frosty for ya, dab a touch of baby oil or simple cooking oil on surface and get a smoother, deeper colored look!
Piece measures 1 1/4 ". An 18” sterling silver chain is included.
Always remember that my glass is genuine surf tumbled glass. This glass is handpicked and from it’s sandy / rocky bed. After washing sea glass, if needed, dab any sort of baby or cooking oil on surface to reinvent these luscious colors.
I ship in a gift box with a card that details cleaning instructions and the legend of Mermaid’s Tears.
