How do you play? Have your toddler turn the turtles over one at a time and name the colors together. Or, hand them a color and see if they can find the match! Then of course there is the traditional game that's fun for any age where you place all the turtles in a 4 x 4 grid and flip by memory until a match is made! This set includes instructions for how to play various games and a handy milled muslin storage bag with matching yarn drawstrings.
The turtles are my own design and are individually crocheted to be approximately 2.75" (7 cm) long. They are made in two parts and stitched together to hide all evidence of the colors underneath AND make them easy for little hands to handle. The eyes on the bugs are buttons, not "stick on", and are securely stitched on with double-thick thread. NOTE: Set can also be made without the eyes if you are concerned about small parts.
And just to make this set even more user friendly, the turtles are washable! The muslin bag is thin enough to be used as a laundry bag to keep them safe if using a machine washing. I recommend laying them flat to dry.
This set is Made to Order (current time of completion on custom orders is mid December). This means that I'm very willing to customize for you!
