We smoothed all the edges so that it will not catch on your shawl.
We call this one "little" because it is significantly smaller and lighter than the 12 gauge version. It would work well on light, lacy fingering weight knitting. It is part of our "Little" series of pins.
The pin measures about 1 7/8-2 1/4" (4.8-5.7cm) long and about 1- 1 1/4" (2.6-3.2 cm) across the widest part. The stick pin part with the spiral on top that slips through the main design to secure the pin is about 2 3/4" (7cm) long.
It can be worn as a brooch too!
All our jewelry comes wrapped in colorful tissue paper, in a nice gift box and tied with a bow ready for gift giving.
This pin is also available in light weight aluminum,12 gauge brass, copper and sterling silver.

The pin in the pictures is a representative pin and not the exact same one that you will receive. We hand make each pin and try hard to make them look the same. There may be some minor differences but the one you will receive will look very similar to the one you see in the pictures.
The brass wire used in this pin is in it's natural form and not treated with a lacquer or wax. Brass naturally oxidizes over time and develops a patina. Some people love that look and some prefer to keep it shiny.
Here are some suggestions for how to shine up your brass jewelry using common household supplies like lemon juice or ketchup. The link provided below is for cleaning copper but it also applies to brass:
