Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were notorious American outlaws during the Great Depression. Along with John Dillinger, Pretty Boy Floyd and Baby Face Nelson, Parker and Barrow provided the sort of iconic, criminal appeal that the press of the day couldn't get enough of. While the true story of their lives tends to be a bit romanticized by popular culture, Bonnie and Clyde remain truly fascinating and historic 'partners in crime.'
This is an original, one-of-a-kind oil painting on canvas. Incidentally, this work marks the first time I've posted a painting of this particular style using TWO solid colors along with black.
The stretched canvas sides are painted in the corresponding green and black, and, thus, the piece is suitable for display without a frame.
The work is finished with museum-quality varnish and the back is fitted with the necessary hardware and wire for immediate hanging display.
