The arm warmers are crocheted from yarn in stripes of gray, purple, white, red, tan, yellow, and olive. The stripes vary in width and what order the colors are in, so that the two arm warmers do not match. The arm warmers you receive may not match this exact pair, but all of the colors will be included. The yarns used for these arm warmers are primarily 98% acrylic, 2% polyester, but the yellow color is 100% organic cotton.
The arm warmers measure 9 1/2 inches long (24 cm), and are about 8 1/2 inches (22 cm) in circumference. The thumb hole sits about 1 1/4 inches (3 cm) from the edge of the arm warmer. I'm about 5'2", and these arm warmers extend to the point where my hand joins my fingers, and about 2/3 of the way up my forearm. I would call this size a medium or large--they are very loose on my skinny little wrists.
These arm warmers can be machine washed and dried. The yarn used is already super soft, and washing it only makes it softer.
