I used 18 microns soft extrafine wool hand dyed by me, it is just so soft and no way it would be itchy. I also hand carded the wool and the silk fibers together.
For one side of the vest I used wool and silk fiber blend in the colours of mauve and and steal blue and put yarns to give an extra texture to the piece. For the collar I put vintage cotton lace what I bought in the local antique shop and I hand dyed with the wool, so it is the same colour. At the other side it is striped with the two colours of blue and mauve.
At the front it is corset style with eyelets and a blue leather strip, so you can have it on your size.
