Lovely little French commode, or Bombe chest perfect as a side table, nightstand, or in a hallway
We are unsure of the circa on this piece, but it is solid wood and there is no plastic or particle board. Even the back is thick, solid wood.
All distressing is original to the piece, as is the hardware.
All drawers open and close smoothly. Interior of drawers boast original olive green paint (looks like oil or milk piant, def NOT latex).
One drawer does have two small worn areas inside the back corner, where the paint has been rubbed away. (guilty...I rubbed a bit too hard while cleaning the drawers!)
Re-imagined in the loveliest shade of pale olive green with a touch of grey
Soft white accents really bring out the curves in this little table
Dark wax is evident in all the distressed areas
