Antique Japanese Elephant Teapot

This piece was made in Japan in the early 20th c. and is what is known as Banko pottery. The teapot is is excellent condition with very few parts of the gold trim paint starting to wear off (you can see it in the photos). The elephant has beautiful colors and a rider atop his lid. This would make a fantastic gift for a wedding, shower, or birthday!
