The St. Johns Bridge is a beautiful, suspension bridge with two prominent Gothic towers found in north Portland above the Willamette River. It is truly the most beautiful bridge in Portland and the most photogenic. Wear this buckle with pride since you purchased them from a St. Johns resident who appreciates the ever changing but always beautiful gateway to nature.

The bridge silhouette is etched onto a light Maple wood veneer. I hand sand the front of the wood so that it won't snag and has a soft hand. Then I finish it with three coats of a polyurethane finish to seal and protect the wood from liquids and food. I mount the wood onto the belt blanks with glue so they are extremely sturdy and the wood will stay in place. Wood is a natural material so all belt buckles are different but that's also what makes each pair unique.

This is a wonderful gift idea for that special guy or gal for their birthday, Valentines Day, Fathers Day, or even a gift for your wedding party or future husband or wife! I can also do custom designs just convo me.

**This belt buckle is more expensive than most on etsy because the buckle blank is made by a metal shop that has been in business for many years in Texas. This item is 100% made in the USA. This is not common for most belt buckles, please support US made products!
