I sanded and refined the shape of the apple, then fired it in my kiln resulting in this fine silver creation. I gave the apple a brushed finish and then strung it on a delicate 18" sterling silver chain with spring ring clasp.
The apple pendant measures 1/2 an inch long (1cm) by 1/2 an inch wide at its widest part.
My new collection, Noble Silver is made entirely from metal clay.
The clay is shaped and then dried, and when fired in a kiln produces pure .999 silver. Fine silver will not tarnish as readily as sterling silver and is strong enough to be heirloom quality.
