Crochet snowflakes are beautiful, lightweight, and versatile (and have the added benefit of not shattering), and I use many of them on my own tree and elsewhere in my house. I also like to have a good supply, as the holidays approach, because they're the perfect small gift: I've inserted them in cards, added them the Christmas packages, and given them with baked treats. I'll admit that I'm somewhat biased (since I love to crochet snowflakes and will make any excuse to do so), but I think they're the perfect addition to any gift or occasion!
