SALE-Scrimgeour: Hand Dyed Fingering Weight Yarn

Scrimgeour is one of my Autumn 2011 line. I was inspired by a photograph of a field full of hay bales, gold and brown against a bright blue sky. When I hung the skeins to dry, I thought how much they looked like the tawny mane of a lion. And being a huge Harry Potter fan, it didn't take me long to think of the name. This yarn is 75% superwash wool, 25% nylon and approximately 420 yards/100 grams. Gauge is 7-8 stitches to 1" on US#0-2 needles.

This yarn is machine washable and dryable, but we recommend washing with like colours or hand washing the first few times as some colour bleeding may occur. This is normal and does not affect the colourfastness of the yarn.
