Beautiful butterscotch, cognac, evergreen and gold briolettes of natural tourmaline reflect the rich autumnal colors of changing leaves. These ten gorgeous gemstones grace gold filled leverback earrings in a simple and elegant presentation.
The briolettes have checkerboard faceting and range in size from 4.5 - 5.5mm. The earrings measure about an inch from the the bottom of the lever back earring. The earrings and metal loops are gold filled in the classic "Hamilton" style.
One of the unique properties of tourmaline is that its color remains true regardless of what light its viewed in - indoor or outdoor, overcast or sunny, tourmaline is always beautiful. This makes tourmaline the ideal gemstone for daytime-to-evening wear. The photos here were taken outdoors under direct and indirect natural light.
