This contemporary cuff bracelet is made from genuine stingray (shagreen) leather which is dyed ebony black. It is a show-stopping piece of jewellery that can be worn both in the day and for a great evening out. The surface looks incredibly luxurious and sparkles in the light. The backbone or 'jewel' of the skin resembles clusters of white pearls and is thought to be a protector of good luck and prosperity. As each skin is different, every cuff bracelet is one of a kind (OOAK).

The cuff interior is sterling silver plated brass. It has been silver plated in Antwerp (Belgium) and is of very high quality. The bracelet is 5 cm / 2" wide and it has a concave centre. It fits a wide variety of wrists and can be adjusted gently. The sides of the skin are treated with a special paint to seal the leather and make it extra durable. We only use grade A skins. The bracelet comes in a hand-printed box tied with a big ribbon, and is an ideal gift.

Stingray is incredibly strong and in Japan it was used by Samurai as armour. It is also renowned for its incredible natural beauty. The splendour of this material cannot be captured in images, however hard we try. It is truly stunning, a gift from nature.
