✹ Wear this and go whoo. . . as in WHOO, hold your horses!
✹ Made for the Etsy Beadweaver's Challenge: "Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!" this dramatic necklace is created from all kinds of energy and passion. The task was to incorporate elements from the Wizard of Oz story, but also to have some reference to an animal, the "lions, tigers and bears" part.
✹ Taking the idea of the color-changing horse from the carriage that Dorothy rides when introduced to the Emerald City, and with the added bonus of including the "Over the Rainbow" reference, this necklace becomes a theatrical display of compelling color.
✹ Made with an array of beaded wedges of black and white zebra stripes linked together with beaded rainbow patterned bars, the center section is adorned with a tiny horseshoe sculpted in polymer clay, dusted with silver powder, varnished, and finally sewn in to highlight this piece. Silver plated rounds, black fire polished beads and silver drops accent the ends and edges.
✹ A comfortable 19" long (48.26cm) with a beaded toggle clasp.
