Geoffrey Beene is a multi-Coty-award winning designer, undisputedly one of the greatest American designers of the 20th century. This is a chance to own - and wear - and important part of fashion history. A very sophisticated and chic piece.
The front has the iconic Beene look, with its set-in waistband encircling the waist, and gentle pleats releasing onto the skirt. The back, just WOW! Those cut-outs simply slay me. Towards the center hem is a deep draping reverse pleat (difficult to see in my photos).
Extremely versatile and wearable - cocktails, parties, dinners - and since the rhinestones are such a deft touch, you could get away with wearing it for day as well.
In the many years I've been in business, this is one of the most fabulous Beenes I've ever had or seen, and I'm both thrilled and honored to offer it. Estate fresh, delivered from my door to yours.
