This unicorn is an originally designed and hand-sculpted by Antonia Hansen The quizzical pastel pink wire wrapped unicorn measures 4x2x7 inches (LxWxH). It has has cyan blue eyes, a silver horn and a pink and white mane.
The unicorn is constructed from a handmade free form wire skeleton wrapped with floral wire, painted with enamel paint and protected with a clear coat sealant. Copper wire is subtly sewn into the body for extra shine. Glass beads are used for the eyes. The horn is a handmade polymer clay bead painted with silver enamel paint.
The structure is solid enough to with stand many falls. It will bend when direct pressure is put it but will easily go back into place without breaking.
Every time I worked a craft fair, little girls where always asking me for unicorns. For a long time I was reluctant to make a unicorn. One day I decided to try it out. I had a lot of fun making it and I decided the unicorns weren't the problem. It was my fear that was holding me back. Unicorns are truly magical and I am very glad I started making them!!
I do custom work. Please feel free to contact me and discuss the details.
Take care
Antonia
