The antiqued brass cable chain closes with a lobster claw clasp and I have used an oversized ring for easier fastening. It is 18 inches long. (Please note measurements as photographs tend to make objects appear larger) The locket has been polished to a bright shine, but will develop a darker patina over time (which some people prefer). If you would like to restore the bright finish, simply polish with a little brass cleaner or lemon juice.
