Vintage Leather Shoulder Bag Flower Power Hand Painted

What a fabulous bag! This vintage Flower Power Hand Painted Handbag is all leather and made sometime in the late 1960's or early 1970's. The bag features hand tooled, hand painted flowers on the flap, brass hardware, and a braided leather shoulder strap. There is no clasp, just a strap across the bag to secure the flap. The stitching is all leather. The bag was possibly made in Mexico. Inside the bag was newspaper to hold the bag's shape. The paper is pages from Diario Baja California, Tiajuana, BC, Saturday January 10, 1978.

The bag is clean and in very good vintage condition. There few scratches on the bag, primarily on the bottom. The white flowers are in very good condition, no yellowing. The bag measures 12 inches wide, 10 inches tall, and 3 1/2 inches across the bottom. The strap is 32 inches long. All the rivets are intact.
