It was originally published in the 1940's as a how-to for the clothing rationing that took place during World War II and contains 31 pages of hints for making clothing last, how-to for turning old clothes into new clothes, sewing lingerie from old slips and several other amazing fabric care tips.
This is an amazing and informative look into the hardships that many in Great Brittan had to endure during the war, and the clever ways that they made everything last to conserve for the war effort.
