We often get questions about why we do such beautiful engravings on something that will get cut up with a knife. We designed our boards around the idea that a wood cutting board has two sides, one side can be used as a decoration in the kitchen, while the other side can be used as a traditional cutting board. This way, both sides are functional in their own way.
**********EXPECTED TIMELINE FROM ORDER TO DELIVERY:
Once we have your order, we will create your proof and send it through Etsy Convos. Your order will ship 10 to 14 days after the order is placed. Shipping can take anywhere from 2-7 days depending on the location within the U.S. International orders will take longer to reach their destination.
**********TO PLACE AN ORDER, PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS AND INCLUDE THE INFORMATION IN THE NOTES SECTION OF THE ORDER:
1. Pick your font from our font list. Please look at the last image on the listing to find the font list. If no font in chosen, we default to the font in the photograph of the listing.
2. Please include the names and dates. Also, please state the date as you want it engraved (8.8.12 or August 8, 2012). If you would like to substitute names and/or dates for something else, please include that information in your notes.
3. A lot of great ideas come our way because of customers. Some even become standard designs. (All designs that are not our standard design offerings will have an additional charge due to additional design time and in some cases additional engraving time).

*The size of the stamp on this 1/2 inch larger than how we engrave it today. We downsized the design due to engraving time as well as some customers felt that it took up too much of the board.
