Carpet bag purse - Beautiful recycled vintage fabrics and trim - fun and funky orange and brown

The material used to create this one of a kind carpet bag styled purse is a bold floral upholstery fabric with large orange and gold flowers and bright green foliage. on a nearly white background with bold black outlining. Almost a Peter Max meets Dr. Seuss sort of effect which I'm hoping you'll love as much as I do. Completing the boho/retro vibe is an awesome braid trim like the stuff we used to trim our jeans or make guitar straps from in the 70's, The lining and straps fabric is a chocolate brown pin dot, and is new. There is one rectangular pocket made from a vintage cotton with crisp white blossoms (apple? poppy? does it matter?) against a chocolate background. It is built on a 12 inch tubular frame which makes it easy to open wide and secure at the same time. The interior of the bag measures approximately 4 X 11 X 7 and the 2 straps hangs 8.5 long so you can carry over your wrist or your shoulder. It is also accented with a bit of new upholstery braid and stands proudly on 4 little bronze colored feet. Referencing the photo - I've never heard the name Soucy before but in the case of this fun bag I've decided that its short for insouciant. Take her with you and have some fun :) All of my items are created in my smoke and pet free home studio.
