This little edition of vessels were made using custom made knitting needles. They remind me of little pods and are color studies and prototypes for the extra large vessel series.
They all have irregular edges and are very organic in shape. The size is similar to a medium size vase and look great in clusters and groupings for accents.
This vessel has been made with a super fine soft dyed slate blue merino wool that is paired with a natural gray brown merino wool.
The pieces have been hand knit and then felted several times and are nice solid forms. They are actually very substantial and each vessel is made of two pounds of wool.
