Julie grabbed her mom’s shoes and tiptoed to the door carefully avoiding squeaky spots on the floor. “Julie!”, she heard when the door swung open, but she was already gone. Today was the Country Fair, and people dressed in their Sunday’s best walked towards the village field where all the festivities were held. Julie, hidden behind a massive oak, wiped her bare feet, put the stockings and mama’s bright yellow shoes on. She smoothed her hair down, and with one skilled movement painted her lips and cheeks with red lipstick, winked to herself in the mirror, and walked slowly to the field. To the fair, with a circus full of clowns and exotic animals. To the fair, with a market full of colourful autumn goods. To the place where Stuart was standing with a guitar in one hand and a huge cloud of cotton candy in another, waiting for his orange girl…

Adorable 70s bright orange dress. Features a slim cut with fitted bodice and half full skirt, big open peter pen collar and long sleeves. The print is incredible: bright yellow mushrooms outlined in brown colour with brown mushroom shadows. The dress is unlined. The row of six original metal golden tone buttons adorn the front closure.
NOTE: The dress is featured with a black petticoat that IS NOT included. Please see the second and last photos for the dress worn without petticoat.
