This cute brooch was created using the technique of ribbonwork. For the centre I made a tiny rosette using white satin ribbon. I then added a navy blue and white striped knot to the middle. To make the bow I used navy blue and white striped ribbon. Each layer has been securely sewn to the next.
A silver tone brooch pin has been sewn to a piece of white felt that was then securely glued to the base of the bow.
This creation is 1 1/4 inches (32 mm) wide, 2 1/2 inches (63 mm) long and just over 1/2 an inch (15 mm) high.
This would look great at the beach.
It comes in its own gift box.
