The lay out of the pattern already had grain lines figured out for you. It 'saved time and fabric'. Well, on this reproduction, I couldnt do that, but I did transfer all markings. This pattern has no pictures of pieces and only a few paragraphs of instructions, so I would call this an intermediate to easy advanced skill level pattern. 44b waist free 47 hip
My patterns are hand traced staying true to the original vintage shapes and markings, scanned and outlined with vector lines. They are printed on quality paper ready for use. As with all vintage patterns, a mock up is strongly encouraged as this pattern has not been tested for assemblage or fit.
My patterns are for home use only, not commercial production.
Please note, in an effort to conserve paper some instructions may be printed on the pattern paper in large open spaces between pieces, instead of solely separate prints bundled along with the pattern.
With prints of the original instructions I am also including some goodies. Printouts of some vintage techniques including seam finishing and lay out techniques. A bevy of tools we can all still use.

The front pleats of this dress actually fall on the side seam of the garment. The original picture even drew them wrong. So just know that when ordering the pattern, thanks!
