PLEASE NOTE: This is not a finished pair of wrist warmers, it is a pattern so that you can knit the wrist warmers yourself with your choice of yarn.
These lace patterned wrist warmers are the perfect accessory for bringing your wardrobe into autumn or adding an extra layer to your winter attire. They are knit with sock yarn so they are sleek enough to layer under your shirts and sweaters without losing any of their cozy warmth, and lace pattern is so pretty peeking out from under your sleeves. Sock yarn is also quite durable and has a little stretch for a great fit.
For this project you will need a set of 5 US 2/2.75 mm sock needles and one 50 gram skein of sock yarn. I used Panda Soy by Crystal Palace Yarns in the color “Fudge Brownie” but you can use any sock yarn you like! You will also need a ruler or tape measure, scissors, a yarn needle, and a stitch counter or pencil & paper to keep track of your rows.
This pattern can be knit in 3 sizes S/M (L, XL). I am wearing size S/M in the photos.
To complete this project you will need to be able to knit, purl, yarn over (yo), slip, slip, knit (ssk), and knit two together (k2tog). The techniques are simple, so this pattern is appropriate for beginning knitters who can knit in the round and want to learn a lace pattern!
