I use an assortment of American Perler beads, English Hama Beads, and Swedish Nabbi beads to achieve a broader color palette than any bead manufacturer offers individually. These portraits can be framed, though personally I think they stand better on their own. Because they are plastic, the protection that a frame offers isn't necessary.
Note that the portrait pictured in this listing has already sold; I keep these posted in my store as a showcase of my work. Each of my portraits is one-of-a-kind, but should you wish to purchase this particular portrait, I will recreate it and you will receive one very similar to the one pictured.
